About Draft Haus

Draft Haus was built from a lifelong appreciation for thoughtful architecture and functional space planning.

Kristen Walnofer brings a foundation of business strategy and design precision to every project. With a background in marketing and a Master’s degree in Business from the University of Arkansas, she approaches design with both creativity and structure — balancing aesthetics, budget awareness, and buildability.

What began as a passion for drafting and architectural design — first developed at a traditional drafting table in high school design courses — evolved into a focused residential design practice serving homeowners seeking clarity, cohesion, and confidence before construction begins.

Kristen specializes in:

Her process is structured, milestone-based, and intentionally collaborative — ensuring projects move forward with clarity rather than confusion.

A Practical Approach to Design

Design is more than selecting finishes or rearranging furniture. It is the coordination of space, proportion, flow, and real-world construction constraints.

By combining detailed drafting with immersive 3D visualization, Draft Haus allows clients to fully understand their project before it is built — reducing uncertainty and strengthening decision-making.

The result is documentation that contractors can build from confidently and homeowners can feel assured in.
